Battery

None. The inverter is a grid inverter without a battery, so there's nothing to charge or sell from.

Stop selling at negative prices

The inverter's export limit is set quarter by quarter by the selling price, but only where the installer has turned export limiting on. GridZeno only lowers a limit that's already set and never turns it on or off.

Grid and consumption

Requires an energy meter at the grid connection that the inverter reads.

Manual

When the control is on Manual, the dongle changes nothing on the inverter. It reads, and if GridZeno has changed something, it puts the inverter's own settings back, including your own charge limits.

The type code 5201, or 5200 when the range from 3000 answers. If it doesn't answer, it's a MIC.

Without VPP V2.01

The type code is only in holding 43, and 123 is the only way to the export limit.

With VPP V2.01

The dongle uses the pair the installer has turned on: 122 in 1-3 with 123, or 30200 = 1 with 30201. With both or neither, 30201 is used.

What the dongle allows for

• The dongle never writes 122 or 30200, only the limit, and only when the installer's switch is on.

How it differs from its neighbours

• Growatt MIN 7000-10000TL-X: The MIN 7000-10000TL-X is the same series for the dongle. The difference is the connector: RS485A1 and B1 in a COM connector instead of pins 3 and 4 in the round SYS COM connector.
• Growatt MIC: A MIC has the type code 210 or 5200 without the range from 3000, and has no export limit the dongle can use.
• Growatt MIN: The MIN TL-XH has a battery and the type code 5100.

Where

The round 8-pin connector on the underside between COM and AC. Pins 5 and 6 in the same connector are used for the energy meter, so there may already be wires in it. The connector marked COM is for DRM and must not be used.
