The dongle reads the inverter and never writes anything to it.

What GridZeno reads

Solar production. A MIC has no energy meter the dongle can read, so grid and consumption aren't shown.

Battery

None. The inverter is a grid inverter without a battery, so there's nothing to charge or sell from.

Grid export

Growatt's protocol has no export limit on a MIC, so GridZeno can't stop the sale.

The type code 210, or 5200 when the range from 3000 doesn't answer.

The grid

A MIC has no measurement of the grid. So the dongle sends no grid values, rather than a measured zero.

Export limit

None. VPP V2.01 has no limit for a MIC, Growatt's RTU protocol doesn't cover it, and no MIC has been seen with registers 122 and 123.

How it differs from its neighbours

• Growatt MIN TL-X: The MIN TL-X has the type code 5201 or 5200 with the range from 3000, and the dongle can lower its export limit.

Where

The 8-pin connector marked COM on the underside, next to the USB port. The same connector is used for the energy meter and the current clamp, so there may already be wires in it.
