Home Assistant finds the dongle on your network by itself.
- 2Approve in GridZeno
Home Assistant shows a 6-digit code. You approve it under Integrations in GridZeno and choose whether it may only read or also control.
- 3Use it
The measurements, the counters and the plan appear as entities you can use in the energy dashboard and in your automations.

You don't have to trust a spreadsheet: plug in the dongle, see your own figures, and send it back at our expense if it is not worth the money. If you don't want to pay for the automation, you can keep the dongle on Light.
After day 14 we refund the dongle and the accessories, but not the subscription months you have used or the shipping you paid when you ordered.

Which subscription do I need?
The integration comes with all subscriptions, including Light, which is free: the measurements, the energy counters, the plan and manual control. Your prices and the solar forecast in Home Assistant need Smart or Pro. See what each subscription includes.
Do my data have to go through the cloud?
No. Home Assistant talks to the dongle on your own network. Only the prices and the solar forecast come from GridZeno.
Can Home Assistant and GridZeno be in control at the same time?
No. When GridZeno is in control on Automatic, Home Assistant can only read. If you control the system yourself, a Home Assistant allowed to control can decide over the battery and the sale, always within the battery's limits.
