About the service
GridZeno consists of two parts that the e-commerce rules apply to: the website, where you order the dongle and pay, and the app and the web app, where you follow your system and manage your subscription. The dongle we sell is a small device without a screen that sits by your inverter.
How to use it all is explained step by step in the guide and on the page From order to operation. The technical terms are explained in the glossary.
How we meet the requirements
We build according to WCAG 2.2 at level AA. That is the guideline the Danish Business Authority (Erhvervsstyrelsen) tests against, together with the European standard EN 301 549.
- The pages have clear headings and a logical order, and they are marked with the right language, so a screen reader pronounces them correctly.
- Everything can be used with a keyboard. Focus is clearly marked, and a link at the top skips directly to the content.
- Forms have labels, understandable instructions and error messages that tell you what to correct.
- Text can be enlarged, and the pages work down to mobile width without horizontal scrolling.
- Information is not shown by colour alone.
- Animations stand still if you have asked for reduced motion in your operating system.
The dongle, login and payment
The dongle has no screen and only one button, which you hold down for 8 seconds to start over. Everything you need to see or choose happens on your own phone or computer: the dongle's setup page, the app and the browser. That way you can use the assistive technology you already have, for example a screen reader and magnification. The dongle's ID is on both the label and the setup page. If you find the installation itself difficult, an installer can fit the dongle for you.
Login takes place with username or e-mail and password, and payment takes place on Stripe's payment page. If you have difficulty logging in or paying, write to us and we will help you.
We have reviewed Stripe's payment page with a keyboard, with the NVDA and VoiceOver screen readers, in large text and on a phone (October 2026). It is in Danish, all fields and buttons have a name, you can get around with Tab, and a missing field is marked and read aloud.
How we have tested
We reviewed the website using only a keyboard and with the NVDA screen reader (version 2026.2) in Chrome on Windows in October 2026: all pages, read aloud from the top and gone through with Tab, and all the way from the front page through the order up to and including Stripe's payment page. We took the same route with VoiceOver on iPhone and on Mac. We reviewed the web app with NVDA and with VoiceOver on iPhone and Mac, and the app with VoiceOver on iPhone and TalkBack on Android. We also tested the website with enlarged text, both with the browser's zoom at 200% and with text twice as large in the browser's settings, and on narrow screens down to 288 px.
All errors we found on our own website and app during the review have been fixed. When we change the website or the app, we review it again so it continues to live up to our promise.
Tell us if something is hard to use
Write to kontakt@gridzeno.dk or use the support button. Feel free to tell us which page or feature it concerns, your browser and any assistive technology you use. You do not need to tell us about a disability or other health conditions.
If you would rather have the information on this page explained orally, call us on +45 22 26 69 29, or tell us in writing which phone number we can call you on and when it suits you. We will then call you.
The rules and supervision
The website and the app are e-commerce services under the Danish Act on accessibility requirements for products and services, which is based on the EU Accessibility Directive. The requirements apply from 28 June 2025. Services from microenterprises are exempt (fewer than 10 employees and no more than EUR 2 million in annual turnover or balance sheet total).
The Danish Business Authority supervises e-commerce services. If you find that something is not accessible and you do not get help from us, you can bring the matter before the Danish Business Authority.
