Battery

None. The inverter is a grid inverter without a battery, so there's nothing to charge or sell from.

Stop selling at negative prices

The inverter's export limit is set quarter by quarter by the selling price, but only where the installer has turned export limiting on. GridZeno only lowers a limit that's already set and never turns it on or off.

Grid and consumption

Requires an energy meter at the grid connection that the inverter reads.

Manual

When the control is on Manual, the dongle changes nothing on the inverter. It reads, and if GridZeno has changed something, it puts the inverter's own settings back, including your own charge limits.

The type code 5002, or no type code when the range that answers fits the MOD TL3-X.

Export limit

123 in 0.1 %, when the installer has turned limiting on in 122.

How it differs from its neighbours

• Growatt MOD TL3-X3: The MOD TL3-X3 is the same kind of grid inverter for the dongle, but is connected with pins 1 and 2 in a round 4-pin connector.
• Growatt MID 10-25KTL3-X: The MID TL3-X has the type code 5001 and uses the VPP protocol's limit, 30201, which needs VPP V2.01.
• Growatt MOD: The MOD TL3-XH has a battery and the type code 5400.

Where

The round connector marked COM on the underside between the PV inputs and the USB port. The same connector is used for the energy meter and DRM, so there may already be wires in it.
