The grid tariff at every grid company.
The grid tariff is what your grid company charges to bring the power to your house. It changes with the time of day and the season, and it differs from company to company. Here are the household rates in force now, in DKK per kWh with VAT.

Find your grid company
The grid company follows the address, not the supplier.
You cannot choose your grid company. It is the company that owns the grid where you live, and it is on your electricity bill. You can choose your supplier freely, and it passes the grid tariff on without adding to it.
You pay the grid tariff only for the power you buy. For the power you sell, a small feed-in tariff is deducted instead.
If your grid company is not here, it is because we do not have its own rates yet.
The highest rate
At most of them from 17:00 to 21:00 in winter.
In winter, from October to March, the grid tariff at most grid companies is highest from 17:00 to 21:00, when many people use power at the same time. At night it is lowest. In summer the difference is smaller.
Those are the hours in which a battery does the most good: charge it when the grid tariff and the spot price are low, and use the power from 17:00 to 21:00. See the electricity price today and tomorrow with the grid tariff included.
Why the rates differ
Each grid company has its own grid and its own costs.
The grid companies set their own rates within the rules the Danish Utility Regulator oversees. A company with many customers per kilometre of cable can often charge less than one with long cables out to few houses. The rates usually change at the turn of the year and between winter and summer.
