Battery

None. The inverter is a grid inverter without a battery, so there's nothing to charge or sell from.

Stop selling at negative prices

The inverter's output is set quarter by quarter by the selling price, but only where the installer has turned the limit on. Solplanet's limit applies to the inverter's whole output, not just the sale to the grid. The dongle sets the installer's value back afterwards.

Grid and consumption

Manual

When the control is on Manual, the dongle changes nothing on the inverter. It reads, and if GridZeno has changed something, it puts the inverter's own settings back, including your own charge limits.

No storage block from input 1600, or the model code 1-5 in 31073: a grid inverter. The dongle doesn't tell the series apart; input 1000 says whether it's three-phase.

The export limit

Lowered only when the installer has turned 44001 on and the limit is under 100 %. The installer's value in 45403 is saved and given back exactly, and the dongle never writes above it.

What the dongle allows for

• If 45403 is changed from outside twice within 30 minutes, the dongle takes it that another system is in control, and waits for six quiet readings.
• A slave in a group with a shared power limit (31390 = 2, protocol V2.1.7) can't be controlled.

How it differs from its neighbours

• Solplanet 45-60K-LT-G3 with RS485 cable: The 45-60K-LT-G3 is read the same way, but is connected with terminals A, B and G in COM2.
• Solplanet ASW S-G2 and ASW LT: Through the Ai-Logger, the connection goes over the network without a cable to the inverter.

For the installer: the registers

What the dongle uses over Modbus, if you want to follow along or troubleshoot. Don't change the registers yourself while control is set to Automatic.

Identity

Input 1000-1029: 1000 is 3 on a three-phase unit, the model is in 1018-1025 and the rated power in 1027-1028. The model code in 31073: 1-5 are grid inverters, 11-16 hybrids.

Export limit

44001 is the installer's switch, 45403 the limit in 0.01 % of the rated power.

Where

On the underside of the inverter under a cap or a cover. On the LT-G2 and LT-G3 there are two RJ45 ports, COM1 and COM2, with the same pins. The Wi-Fi stick and the energy meter each have their own port.
