What GridZeno reads

Solar production, and grid and consumption when there's an energy meter on the inverter.

Battery

None. The inverter is a grid inverter without a battery, so there's nothing to charge or sell from.

Grid export

SolaX' protocol has no export limit on this inverter, so GridZeno can't stop the sale.

The serial number in holding 0x300 starts with MP156T or MPT: X3-PRO G2.

What the dongle reads

Input 0x400-0x434, with PV3 in 0x42B, and the meter from 0x43B. The PRO 12-30 kW has three strings. The rated power from the machine type in 0x34E.

Export limit

None in SolaX' official maps. The power limits limit the whole output and aren't used.

How it differs from its neighbours

• SolaX X3-MIC: The X3-MIC G2 is read the same way, but is connected in the RJ45 port RS485 with pins 4 and 5.
